Kara Wolfe, M.A.

Kara brings over 16 years of diverse training and experience as CanNorth’s Human Environment Division Manager, Senior Human Environment Specialist, and Archaeologist. She specializes in human environment interactions, traditional food studies, social impact assessments, rights holder and stakeholder engagement, and Heritage Resource Impact Assessments. Kara is formally trained in archaeology, public participation, and gender-based analysis plus. She has experience coordinating community-based and Indigenous-led projects, including traditional food studies and traditional land use programs. She has worked with industry, crown corporations, and Indigenous Nations on various projects. Kara is a member of the International Association of Public Participation (IAP2), the Saskatchewan Association of Professional Archaeologists, and the Saskatchewan Archaeological Society.
