Environmental Manager / Senior Biologist
Jennifer’s passion for finding ways for industry and wild spaces and species to coexist led her to join CanNorth in 2013. With over 20 years of experience, Jennifer is employed as an Environment Manager and Senior Biologist at CanNorth. In her multi-disciplinary role, Jennifer enjoys working with our various environment departments to assist clients with assessing, mitigating, and monitoring potential impacts of industrial developments on ecosystems. Jennifer leads and conducts projects of all scales, ranging from large-scale environmental impact assessments, Environmental Effects Monitoring (EEM) programs, and environmental performance reporting to smaller-scale projects such as fish salvages and environmental site assessments. Her client base is broad including mining companies, construction companies, crown corporations, and others. Jennifer has specialty skill sets in fish habitat offsetting projects and is well-versed in provincial and federal environmental regulations and permitting requirements. Jennifer has also been extensively involved in CanNorth’s ISO 45001 health and safety management system and leads our company’s community fundraising, outreach, and volunteer opportunities.
