Physical Sciences Division Manager
Jocelyn has worked in hydrological research and consulting for over 20 years and is a Professional Agrologist. At CanNorth, she manages the Physical Sciences Division that includes the disciplines of soil, hydrology, and hydrogeology, brings her technical expertise as a Senior Hydrologist, and serves as a member of the Operations Team. Jocelyn has been involved with numerous programs assessing the effects of industrial developments on aquatic environments, including baseline programs, environmental assessments, and state of the environment and environmental performance reports. Jocelyn has many years of experience in managing large-scale, multidisciplinary environmental programs, and works closely with clients from multiple sectors to design programs that fulfill regulatory requirements and meet the client’s needs. This includes extensive experience in planning and installing meteorological stations, designing and conducting remotely located hydrological monitoring programs, and completing surface water and groundwater studies. Jocelyn supervises field staff, is extremely familiar with the equipment that CanNorth uses, and oversees the Equipment Manager to ensure that everything runs smoothly. Her love of a challenge has led to managing multiple Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments for First Nations communities throughout Saskatchewan.
