Environmental Impact Assessments – Environmental impact assessments (EIAs) can be a provincial and/or federal requirement depending on the project. CanNorth specializes in designing and conducting comprehensive terrestrial, aquatic, heritage, socio-economic, and community health baseline studies to inform EIAs. Our staff have successfully led the development of Technical Proposals, Terms of Reference, EIAs, and Environmental Impact Statements (EIS) for mining, linear, and renewable energy projects enabling regulatory acceptance and project development. This includes conducting effects assessments, risk assessments, socio-economic and health studies, mitigation and monitoring planning, and habitat compensation planning for EIAs, preparing and compiling EIS documents, and leading engagement activities.
