Biological Studies and Habitat Compensation Plans – CanNorth designs and conducts a wide variety of biological surveys to identify or confirm the presence/absence and abundance of fish, wildlife, and vegetation species using a combination of traditional field methods and technology (e.g., automated recording devices and trail cameras). This includes several targeted species at risk studies and studies to support the development of habitat compensation or offsetting plans. CanNorth has been involved in planning and implementing mitigations and compensation measures of offsetting plans and completing follow-up monitoring to measure their effectiveness.
