CanSouth is a Panamanian registered company wholly owned by CanNorth and is located in Panama City. The business is focused on environmental consulting and community development. CanSouth has a strong relationship with local Latino and indigenous communities. (i.e. Embera Wounaan, Ngobe Bugle, etc).

CanSouth has conducted projects in Panama to evaluate the impacts to aboriginal communities related to proposed expansions in the mining sector. CanNorth and CanSouth are currently completing a comprehensive environmental baseline study in Panama for a proposed copper and gold development.
